What do a Vail ski instructor, a mother of two, a MBA in Organizational Development, a Vistage Chair, and a Senior Associate of Dynamic Results have in common with an Outward Bound instructor, a business owner, a marathon runner and a highly sought after speaker on emotional intelligence have in common?

They are all the same person: Heather Anderson.

As the female half of the first ever father-daughter Vistage chair (Heather’s dad, Dr. William Amberg is a Vistage Chair in Phoenix), Heather works with CEOs and key senior executives to assess and to develop their respective emotional intelligence.

Heather is one of the most widely recognized and most highly rated speakers and seminar facilitators on the subject of emotional intelligence in the United States. Heather has been entrusted by hundreds of CEOs all over the country to conduct individual Emotional Intelligence Inventories (EQi). Additionally, she delivers team and organizational assessments. Qualified to deliver the EQi, EQi 360, and the youth EQi, Heather promotes her belief that the better an individual recognizes and understands the affects of his/her emotions on their personal and professional results the more effectively he/she can deal with life’s multitude of pressures and demands.

Heather lives in Stowe, Vermont with her husband Bob (an associate with Dynamic Results), their two children Sierra and Camden, and their Labradors Boulder and Shackleton.

When not depicting the business case for developing an individual’s or an organization’s emotional intelligence, Heather practices yoga, trains for marathons, and spends time creatively teaching her children that they can make a positive difference in the world one day – one person at a time.

A voracious reader of all genres of novels, Heather practices what she preaches by looking for and understanding ways to improve her emotional intelligence so that she is able to serve her immediate and extended communities with even greater success than she enjoys today.
