Barry Bell is the founder and a managing director of Echelon Analytics, a specialized consultancy that provides economic and financial analysis, forensic accounting and expert testimony in commercial disputes and litigation. For more than nineteen years, he has provided consulting services to clients involved in commercial disputes across a wide array of industries. Bell frequently provides expert analysis and testimony on damages in litigation matters before state and federal courts and in arbitration.
He has considerable experience in assessing damages and determining value in matters involving various forms of intellectual property, including patent, copyright, trademark and trade secrets. Bell has lectured on intellectual property-related topics in various venues and has published articles in scholarly journals dealing with patent and copyright issues.
An avid cyclist, Bell resides in Dallas with his wife Sabrina and their two sons. He is active in his church, where he teaches a weekly class and is a former member on the church's finance committee.
Bell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a major in finance from Tennessee Technological University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is a member of numerous professional associations, including the American Bar Association (associate member), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Licensing Executives Society, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
